Compliance Manager/Illinois/Deposits and Operations

Up to $150K Plus bonus

General responsibilities: This position is responsible for ensuring policies, procedures and standards are developed and implemented to ensure compliance with the Bank's Compliance Risk Management Program. This position will also be responsible for managing compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing all of the Bank's deposit related products and services.
This position will report to the Director of Compliance.
General Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and implementing processes to assure adherence to all aspects of the Bank's Compliance Risk Management Program.
• Responsible for assisting business units in identifying internal control weaknesses and taking appropriate corrective action.
• Assists with the development and implementation of quality assurance reviews and business unit self testing.
• Assists in the development of policies and procedures.
• Ensures the change control processes within each business unit are adhered to.
• Provides subject matter expertise to business units.
• Provides day-to-day supervision and management over a team of Compliance experts.
• Assists the Director of Compliance in developing and implementing Compliance strategies that promotes the Bank's commitment to a strong culture of compliance.

Competencies and Experience:
• Candidate must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Must demonstrate a clear understanding of relevant regulatory compliance requirements, particularly those laws and regulations applicable to deposit operations.
• Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business partners and team members.
• Must have 6 or more years of experience in bank compliance and be able to demonstrate successful application of knowledge.
• Have experience successfully managing a team of compliance experts.
• High degree of initiative and strong ability to meet principal accountabilities with limited direction and oversight.

• CRCM preferred
• Must be willing to relocate
