Our client is a national subprime lender that provides automotive financing to franchise dealerships throughout the U.S. Through the use of leading edge technology, they are able to offer dealers great products with exceptional service levels.

They are seeking a results oriented analytics professional to support the growing organization as Manager, Business Analysis. Focusing on loan originations, the Manager, Business Analysis is an important member of The Risk Analytics & Modeling team. This team is responsible for enforcing data-driven business decisions and promoting automation efforts across the organization. These goals are achieved by grounding outcome expectations through cash flow and statistical modeling and implementing results though system and process changes.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Analytics, the primary charge is analyzing and improving all nodes of the application processing and pricing decision cycle. This includes approve / decline decision making, credit policy analysis, deal-level profitability analysis, and interpretations of the competitive environment. The role will be deeply involved in establishment and maintenance of credit policy, simulation / Monte Carlo analysis, and pricing optimization.


• Promote improvements and modifications to Credit Policy and Pricing / Structuring Algorithms through rigorous analysis along the dimensions of risk, default probability, market elasticity, and internal cost efficiencies.
• Work to develop tools used in application simulation / Monte Carlo analysis.
• Interact with Statistical Modeling team to promote demand-elasticity pricing / modeling efforts.
• Gather market research data to improve the Company's competitive position in the market place.
• Maintain a strong comprehensive understanding of competitiveness relative to key industry drivers.
• Assist with key control processes and report administration.
• Provide support for databases and applications owned by team.
• Communicate and present analytical findings to management.


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required; proven strong academic performance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Working knowledge of SQL Server preferred.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming preferred (i.e. Python).
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills while presenting ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• Able to work effectively in partnership with the other team members.
